Original version of Captain Howdy comes from Twisted Sister’s Stay Hungry album. And I gotta admit that for a Twisted Sister track it’s “just” ok. But there’s a reason to spotlight this song though….
For me, the song rose to a whole new level once Broken Hope released their version on their Repulsive Conception album. Their take is downtuned, slowed down and thoroughly “cookie-monstered”… and this is the version I love.
