THE ALBUM (POLAR MUSIC, 1977)
Thank you for the music,
the songs I’m singing
Thanks for all the joy
they’re bringing
Who can live without it?
I ask in all honesty
What would life be, without a song or a dance, what are we?
So I say thank you for the music, for giving it to me.
Well, what else could I say? Or in my case, write? The very name of this art project is borrowed from ABBA’s absolutely beautiful song Thank You for the Music, so including at least one sketch with the same text was really a no-brainer. And at least for me, the lyrics of this particular song resonate deeply — music has been a crucial part of my graffiti career since day one.
