King Satan is an industrial metal band from Tampere, Finland. Despite the genre, they combine various elements in their music, from death metal to blues rock to aggrotech.
It’s pretty hard to describe, so it’s better to give ’em a listen and judge by yourselves. I’d say they share many similarities with Rob Zombie, Turmion Kätilöt, Ministry, Eggvn… just to name a few. When I first heard them, it was hard to believe they were Finnish — this kind of humorous yet blasphemous approach isn’t that common in the Finnish metal scene… or at least it hasn’t been on my radar, except for the aforementioned Turmion Kätilöt, of course.
I discovered King Satan relatively late — in early 2023, to be exact. But I was hooked immediately. So far, I’ve only seen them live once, but hopefully, that won’t be the last time.
Check out their videos! They have plenty, and they’re all equally entertaining. I really love it when bands put effort into their visual presence on top of kick-ass music! And King Satan does deliver!.
