ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN (NUCLEAR BLAST, 2022)
This is the third track from ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN, the tenth studio album by Machine Head.
And this one definitely falls among the three best albums from the band. They’ve released quite a few kick-ass albums over the years, but the first two (Burn My Eyes and The More Things Change) and this one just happen to have that extra something that makes them stand out from the rest of their catalog. Become the Firestorm has all the elements I love about Machine Head: heavy riffs, faster passages, catchy choruses… and the whole album is produced exceptionally well. To be honest, I haven’t heard a single Machine Head album that sounds shitty, production-wise or otherwise. They’re top-notch professionals and know exactly what they’re doing.
