SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH (VERTIGO, 1973)
This is the last track on Black Sabbath’s fifth studio album — and it’s one of my favorite tracks by the band as well.
To this day, I still listen to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and its follow-up, Sabotage, regularly. You could say these two are my go-to albums whenever I’m in the mood for some good old ’70s heavy metal.
I discovered Black Sabbath relatively late, probably in 1996. That summer, I got my hands on their first six albums, which, to me, are still the definitive Sabbath albums. For some reason, I tend to prefer the tracks that aren’t the most well-known or popular.
