Turmion Kätilöt is an industrial metal group from Finland. So far, they have released eleven studio albums filled with catchy, disco-influenced metal music.
The band is truly something else – killer songs paired with wonderfully disturbed videos.
With only a few exceptions, their lyrics are in Finnish. I started listening to them either in late 2005 or early 2006. Their second album, Pirun Nyrkki, hadn’t yet been released, and I was eagerly waiting for it to hit the stores. Before that, I had only heard a few tracks from them but I was really digging what I’d heard so far. I bought those earlier releases at the same time as Pirun Nyrkki. I’ve been a fan ever since.
The 2nd picture, Acton with a miniature “Turmion Kätilöt” text, was also published in “Perintö” graffiti book (2018). And there’s a lot more related sketches lined up, waiting to be published on this site.
